Instagram is Changing Its Ranking System to Emphasize Original Content
Meta-owned Instagram It will be modified algorithm to improve its ranking system and highlight its more Original content. Its head Adam Mosseri announced the announcement to creators.

Mosseri tweeted late Wednesday, “We’ve added New Ways to Tag and Improve Ranking: Product Tags, Enhanced Tags, Ranking for Originality”
He said, “Creators are so crucial to the future Instagram,” and added that they should be recognized and credited.

Mosseri responded to a tweet by Matt Navarra, pointing out that Instagram already works hard to highlight original content but that it is moving more in this direction, and will continue to do so.
Mosseri tweeted, “As we look more into recommendations, it’s becoming increasingly important to not overvalue aggregators as that would be good for creators and therefore bad for Instagram long-term,”
Instagram stated that credit should be given to the right person. Monetisation goes straight to the original creator.
“If you create something entirely from scratch, you will get more credit than if someone shares something you have found elsewhere. The Instagram head stated that they will do more to value original content, especially when compared to reposted content.
